Rafael Cazorla, Postales inventadas !

Il y a quelques jours, alors que je cherchais je ne sais plus quoi, je tombai sur le blog de Rafael Cazorla.

Mon sang ne fit qu'un tour car j'étais devant une sorte de reflet américain de mon propre blog. Des cartes postales d'architectures contemporaines et modernes présentées avec un texte jouant d'une fausse correspondance à travers laquelle Rafael nous donne des informations sur les bâtiments présentés. Allez vite voir c'est superbe !
La ressemblance avec mon blog est vraiment, dans l'esprit, incroyable.
Je décidai immédiatement de faire de Rafael un ami.
Après quelques échanges par internet, je lui ai envoyé quelques cartes postales de ma collection, là-bas en Californie à San Francisco.
Et il se trouve qu'en retour hier je reçois cela :

Breslau jahrunderthathel- This reinforced concrete structure was built in Wroclaw in 1913 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of victory over Napoleon. At the time of construction it was the largest reinforced concrete structure in the world. With the large circular central space it seats 6000 persons. The dome is 23m high and made of steel and glass. The Jahrhunderthalle became a key reference for the development of reinforced concrete structures in the a 20th century. Architect Max Berg.


Temppeliaukio Church in Helsinki. This Church was designed by architects and brothers Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen, and opened in 1969. You probably know about it... Yes Rafael !


Boston City Hall. Built in 1967 at the height of the Brutalist architectural style, it is a fantastic work by American architect Paul Rudolph.


The Edificio Copan (Copan Building) is a 140 metre, 38 story residential building in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Construction began in 1957 and completed in 1966. It is one of the largest buildings in Brazil and has the largest floor area of any residential building in the world. Oscar Niemeyer at his best !
